(Cranston, Rhode Island) Steven J. Collins, former Vice President of Marketing at Dryvit Systems, Inc. and a twenty year veteran of the polymer modified textured finishes and coatings industry, has been named President of PermaTone, Inc. a leading manufacturer of interior architectural coatings.

Mr. Collins will lead a structured domestic growth strategy expected to grow the company out of its international and southwestern United States sales focus to other regions around the United States. He comes to PermaTone with extensive sales and marketing experience on a national and international scale, with a proven record of developing and growing distribution networks.

PermaTone manufactures and markets a range of Old-World Venetian stuccos, polished plasters, textured and aggregate finishes with more than twenty years of proven success in Central and South America, the Caribbean, and both Eastern and Western Europe. The
U.S. market is beginning to embrace the Venetian plasters, which is the foundation of the company’s growth strategy.
